The 13th Annual Boise to Idaho City MTB Tour (formerly CYCLE IDAHO) [Saturday & Sunday, June 19-20]

7am- Check in STARTS, at the staging area. Look for a car hauler to carry your camping gear. We are located at the Ft. Boise Armory on Reserve St. in Boise, Id.

This adventure ride rolls up Rocky Canyon Rd., from there you'll visit two more high passes on your way to our lunch area located at Clear Creek Lodge. The lunch stop is our half-way point, located on Clear Creek Rd., if you drive you'll be turning left off Grimes Creek Rd from HWY 21.
After lunch, we proceed along scenic Grimes Creek Rd. North to Centerville. Following a snack break, you'll proceed to climb up to Spanish Fork and find the exhilerating descent into Idaho City. Finish for the 1st day is at the football field, there you'll find our free, dry camping area in the trees. You can look forward to a Great dinner provided in the historical Park that evening. Free showers located at the High School in downtown Idaho City.
This is a benefit ride with a portion of the proceeds going to SouthWest Idaho Mountain Bike Association(SWIMBA). They are established donors in Idaho, from the members countless hours to monitary contributions back to the trail community.Come check out the brand new Idaho Velodrome and Cycling Park. Developments with this latest project are recieving national attention and is it quickly becoming a regional area hub. Halfway Start- Clear Creek Lodge-NOON 1st day finish about 3:30pm in Id. City
Sunday, June 20 KITCHEN BREAKFAST!!8am Halfway Finish- Clear Creek Lodge-NOON Tour Finish about 4pm at Ft. Boise Armory

For those interested in 1/2 up and 1/2 back touring, start your adventure at Clear Creek Lodge(just off HWY 21) and then returning to the Lodge the next day. Please purchase a one day (either day), plus any meals you want, plus the sign-in license. Check-in and check-out will be at the lunch spot. We do not provide transportation to the Clear Creek Lodge, but you can park there overnight. Please respect this option as we are giving folks the opportunity to do a shorter route and still enjoy the benefits without purchasing a full tour. Thanks!

    Families may purchase extra dinner/breakfast tickets during check-in. If you or friend/family are willing to volunteer to help with dinner/breakfast you will get a free meal ticket or discount on riders fee. $20.00 Late FEE after MONDAY the 14th for two or one day registration!

     

    Check-in is located at the Old Ft. Boise Armory, one-half mile off Fort St. on Reserve in Boise, Idaho. Staging area is at the same place, look for the cargo truck. Starting 8am. For those starting Halfway, meet at Clear Creek Lodge off HWY 21 at NOON, this is our lunch stop as well.
