Saturday’s race is a 8-mile loop. WE are doing a new course this year- to mix things up! A long climb all the way to the middle of Hidden valley to start it out. Then hang a right, bombing down part of the Elk trail. Part of the upper loop is all downhill on the spectacular Elk Trail. Then you end up doing part of the old course in reverse as you pass by the lodge,-- Growler to Bear trail clock-wise.
The beginners and trailblazers will do short courses, obviously, due to the nature of vertical gain at Brundage Mtn.Resort. This race also hosts the Idaho State Single-Speed Championship!! YOU MUST HAVE A ANNUAL LICENSE TO BE IDAHO STATE CHAMPION!

After the XC, we are going to do Lorien's favorite event, the Bomberman Super D!!! THIS IS A CHAMPIONSHIP EVENT.YOU MUST HAVE A ANNUAL LICENSE TO contest the STATE CHAMPION, one day license holders can still win the race-- but the title will go to annual license racers!

We'll get everybody finished with the XC, then ride up the chairlift and be ready to rip by 1:30/2pm. Attention: LIFTPASS is included in the price of entry. This event highlights the rider with great bike handling skills. The course we have planned will take the average rider less than 20 minutes to complete. We are awarding points in your respective catagories for XC and downhill. Don't miss an opportunity to score valuable series points. There will be gold, silver and bronze medals available to the top three, Cat 1, Cat 2, Cat 3, and Pro catagory winners for male and female, Overall. Otherwise, there is points for the top ten in your respective series class.

Camping is available at the resort!! There are hotsprings nearby and places to eat within minutes. Please bring everything you need to camp...especially marshmallows for the Smores you will make and then share with the staff. Hope to see you there.
