Team Crew
Yadi Spangenberg - Team Director and Coach
Wife and Mom of 4 living in Idaho who loves adventure. I’m passionate about coaching and teaching MTB clinics! I have enjoyed racing all kinds of sports over my life from downriver whitewater kayaking, snowboard cross, trail runs and mountain bike races. The hard work, commitment, progress and efforts not only improve your game, but they radiate out to other parts of your life and build character. I would have loved the opportunity to race bikes with a team as a teenager so I thoroughly enjoy providing a program for our next generation. Work has taken me from ski patrol to owner/operator of a whitewater kayak school, coaching, teaching cross training classes, personal training and now Director of our Wild Rockies Racing Teams. I love to help our athletes work toward their goals as they learn more about themselves in the midst. I am going on my 7th year on the US Pro Cup and Nationals tour as either a parent, coach or both. I have been a NICA Coach for 10 years and a USA Cycling coach for 5 years. It’s a blast and so rewarding observing the progress in our athletes.

Jake Yundt
Team Mechanic and Owner of RollingHcycles, Nampa ID
I am a long time Idaho resident. I have been riding and working on bikes since I was old enough to ride one. I got my first real job at the age of 14 in a bike shop in Boise, and have been wrenching on bikes and involved in the cycling industry in some way ever since.
Recently, I’ve been a supporting coach for a local NICA team, working with other MTB coaches on skills, and I spend a lot of time helping my two kids get ready to race everything from NICA to the US Pro Cup series. Helping develop young riders and racers into life-long cyclists is a passion of mine, and I find helping the next generation of cyclists in any way highly rewarding. If I am on a team ride, sessioning technical sections, cheering from the sidelines of the race course, or problem solving in Tech Zone, I am happy to support racers however I can.

Jamie Laidlaw
Skills Coach
I was raised in McCall in a family that appreciated all that the area has to provide. Much of my youth was spent alpine ski racing, mountain bike racing and paddling the local rivers. I have been fortunate enough to travel the world climbing and skiing as a semi-professional athlete. This experience has given me valuable insight into what it takes to have longevity in, and excel at a sport or endeavor. I am a firm believer that the recipe to success involves a deep love for the activity and a strong understanding of its fundamentals. I am a lifelong learner and am constantly tinkering and striving for improvement both on the bike and in life. One of my greatest joys comes from helping people unlock their abilities and strengthening their passion.
