Yadi Spangenberg

Wife and Mom of 4 living in McCall Idaho, best duty ever!  I have always loved competition.  The hard work, progress and efforts not only improve your game, but they radiate out to other parts of your life and build character.  I have a passion for the outdoors, I primarily spend time biking, backcountry snowboarding, trail running with our dogs, river fun and paddle boarding early mornings.  Work has taken me from ski patrol to owner/operator of a whitewater kayak school, onto coaching, teaching cross training classes for bike and ski prep, personal training and now owning Wild Rockies.  I love to help people achieve their goals and learn more about themselves in the midst.

Jamie Laidlaw

I was raised in McCall in a family that appreciated all that the area has to provide.  Much of my youth was spent alpine ski racing, mountain bike racing and paddling the local rivers.  I have been fortunate enough to travel the world climbing and skiing as a semi-professional athlete.  This experience has given me valuable insight into what it takes to have longevity in, and excel at a sport or endeavor.  I am a firm believer that the recipe to success involves a deep love for the activity and a strong understanding of its fundamentals.  I am a lifelong learner and am constantly tinkering and striving for improvement both on the bike and in life.  One of my greatest joys comes from helping people unlock their abilities and strengthening their passion.

Dean Cromwell

After retiring as a mechanical engineer and business owner a few years ago, I have been very fortunate to follow my passion and start my “second career” as a youth cycling coach and team director!  I have been an avid cyclist for 25 years, and competed often in road and mountain bike racing for 10+ years.  I still enjoy competing in local races from time to time!  I love serving the community, and especially coaching and working with local student-athletes (and my own two kids) to help them develop and find their own passion inside and outside of cycling.  My wife Amy and I started a non-profit in 2013 called Payette River Bicycle Movement (PRBM).  Among other things, we work as a team to refurbish donated bikes and provide new helmets to children who wouldn’t otherwise have a bike.  To date we have refurbished over 400 bikes and provided them to kids in our community.  We strive to be a community leader in promoting a healthy and fun-filled lifestyle in the West Central Mountains.
