RACE TEAM
Edyn Teitge
My name is Edyn Teitge and I am born and raised in Hailey Idaho. I’ve been riding bikes since before I can remember and started racing with Nica in 6th grade. My favorite race course so far is the xc course in Canmore, Canada because of the technicality and it so different than any of the other course I have gotten to ride. I love riding my bike for the adventure and freedom it gives me and racing to find the limits and trying to push past them.
Colton Petsch
My name is Colton Petsch, and I am from Jackson Wy. My competitive cycling career started when I was 8, when I competed as the youngest kid to complete the Cache Creek race. Oddly enough, my favorite course is the Cache Creek course. I think this is because of its variety of terrain and its enormous abundance of climbs. The best part of bike racing is getting to push both your mind and your body to their absolute limit and then pushing past that limit into the pain cave. The thing I most often listen to while I am warming up is 80’s rock, especially Mötley Crüe. My go-to pre-race meal is Cheerio’s with granola and blueberries in it. At the beginning of my freshman year I developed a daily persistent headache caused by Long-Covid. This left me bed ridden for over 3 months. Even still I am in and out of the hospital because of all the health issues that Long-Covid gave me. But even in all these hard times I learned how to be more patient, and how to sustain a long athletic career, and avoid burnout. Everyday I continue to learn how to be more effective as an athlete, team mate, friend, and son, and I strive to be the best version of myself every single day.
Emmett Smith
I grew up in Pocatello, but moved to Brussels, Belgium for 3 years when I was 3. I’ve been riding my mountain bike as early as I can remember and my first race was Pedalfest (8 year old me hated it). Since then I have grown to enjoy racing because of how much I love the people and training/pushing my body to the limit. My favorite race has to be soldier mountain (I enjoy the climb). The hardest race for me has to be Bogus Basin just about every year.
When it comes to pre race, I don’t like to push it to much, keep calm, and no warmup music—I like to talk to my teammates. A peanut butter, honey, and banana sandwich is my go-to pre race meal. In my lowest moments I tell myself in stay present in the moment and to just focus on now. One of the hardest challenges I’ve endured would have to be starting Varsity Soccer my sophomore year. I was pretty excited, but also felt inadequate and weak. It wasn’t easy but it greatly improved my ability and taught me that if you raise the bar, you rise with it.

My first year racing ProCup series was last year, and am looking forward to racing the ProCup season again in 2026.
Payette Spangenberg
Molly Yundt
My name is Molly Yundt. I am from the small town of Middleton, Idaho. Riding my mountain bike is my favorite way to be active and compete. I raced NICA for 4 years on the Middleton Mountain Bike team. 2025 was my first year racing the US ProCup series with the Wild Rockies Race team, and I will be racing 17-18 UCI again this year. When I am not riding my bike I love riding my horses and I plan to study Nursing at Northwest Nazarene University in the fall of 2026. I can’t wait to see what this season brings!
Ella Voigt
Hi! My name is Ella Voigt. I am 18 years old, I live in Teton Valley, Idaho and I love riding bikes. I joined a local NICA team in 6th grade and fell in love with the sport. My favorite music to listen to pre-race is probably Metallica’s “Ride the Lightning” album. Instant mashed potatoes and chocolate chip waffles are my go-to for race morning breakfast. My favorite pre-race dinner is rice with chicken sausage and veggies. This is my first year on Wild Rockies and I’m super excited for the upcoming race season!
Mariah Dickerson
I am Mariah Dickerson and a going into my 6th season of racing mountain bikes! I love all aspects of racing and training but my favorite is finding new limits for myself and exploring new places. One of my favorite places to explore has been St. George, UT, and my favorite race course is SoHo Bike fest. When I am not biking, I enjoy skiing (DH and XC), trail running, spending time with friends and family, and cooking. I can’t wait for this season to start and to see what it has to offer!!
Pepper Spangenberg
My name is Pepper Spangenberg and I live in Hailey Idaho and I am 13 years old. I started racing bikes in 6th grade with Nica! I love racing bikes because I love the challenge and the accomplishment when done with a race, a long ride, or any intervals! I also love to see improvement and seeing how much I have improved throughout my seasons. My favorite Pro athlete is Hailey Batten! I really admire her because she has great sportsmanship. My favorite course so far is definitely Solider Hollow XC race because I love the flow and it’s not just one huge up hill but it differs from ups and downs!
Tess Emery
Hi, my name is Tess Emery and I’m 16 years old from Ketchum, Idaho. I’ve been racing since 3rd grade and biking has always been a huge part of my life. At the end of 2023, I had a bad crash that chipped and tore open my elbow, which kept me from racing at state championships. The following spring, I tore my patellar tendon and MPFL ligament and spent almost a year rehabbing and recovering, which caused me to miss my freshman race season, but after nearly two years off the bike, I came back for my sophomore NICA season and was really proud of the physical and mental challenges I overcame. I’m super excited for my first season of racing with Wild Rockies. Outside of biking, I play basketball and run track, ski both alpine and backcountry, and enjoy hunting, fishing, and pretty much anything in the outdoors.
Kaya Kandolin
Hi, my name is Kaya Kandolin and I am from Jackson, Wyoming. I have been racing bikes for seven years. I love racing bikes because of how rewarding it feels to achieve my goals and the lifelong connections I have made along the way. The most important thing I tell myself when times get tough is to trust myself and remember to have fun.
Clancie Stinger
I’m 15, I live in Middleton ID and I started racing as a 4th grader doing local races. I love racing bikes because it challenges me physically and mentally, and it’s not like any other sport. My favorite race course so far is Washougal Washington. My go to pre-race meal is pancakes with lots of syrup and the night before I have spaghetti and meatballs.
